Description

The White Cottage is a mid-18th century building that was originally two cottages but is now a single cottage. It features whitewashed mud and stud construction with brick elements and has a pantile roof with overhanging eaves. The cottage is single storey and consists of six bays. The doorway, located on the left, has a part-glazed door. To the left of the doorway is a single small casement window, while to the right are three Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars, along with a single blocked doorway on the far right. There is a lean-to attached to the left side of the cottage.
