House. Mid C17, for the Cheales family, late C19 extensions and alterations. Red brick. Plain and fish scale C19 slate roof. Decorative ridge. Single ridge and left gable C19 red brick stacks. Tumbling to, left gable. Dentil eaves. Brick coped gables with kneelers. First floor raised brick and dentil band. Fen Artisan-Mannerist style. 2 storeys, 5 bays. The single central bay projects and is gabled. Central doorway with part glazed door and overlight. Each side wall of this bay has a single sash. To the right are 2 larger sashes with lateral glazing bars. To the left is a single cross casement and on the far left a single sash. Above are 4 sashes, the single bay second from the left with single blind window. In the gable apex of the single central bay is an ashlar shield. All openings and blind window with rusticated brick surrounds and lintels. Ground floor openings and single central first floor opening with dentil pediments over the band. First floor windows apart from the single left with dentil brick sills. Gable walls with similar bands and pediments. To the rear is a similar C19 wing. Interior. Room to right of doorway with four centred arched brick fireplace.
