Description

Pinfold is an 18th-century structure built from dressed coursed rubble, ashlar, and iron. It has a quadrangle plan measuring 12 metres by 10 metres and is set into a shallow bank. The walls are made of dressed coursed rubble topped with round moulded ashlar coping and a band running underneath. The roadside features a gateway that includes a small 20th-century iron gate.
