Description

The monument to Augusta Mary Elizabeth Baroness Bolsover is located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Winifred, 6 metres southeast of the apse. This early 20th-century monument takes the form of a low table tomb made of ashlar. It is rectangular and supported by four bulbous feet, featuring eight carved shields as decoration. The top of the monument has a decorative stylised cross carved in relief, along with the inscription: "To the memory of Augusta Mary Elizabeth Baroness Bolsover Born Novr 8 1834. Died Aug 7 1893." It stands on a rectangular paved area.
