NETTLETON BURTON ST 87 NW 2/332 Mary Buckell monument in churchyard about 7m south of west tower of Church of St. Mary

GV II

Chest tomb, late C18 or early C19, ashlar with south side plaque framed by arched-head panel each side with cherub heads over seated figures, plaque in parted curtain frame, drapery half-shrouding urn to each side. Rounded corners with leaf decoration. Similar north side plaque but descending doves under cherub heads. Moulded base and cornice with fluted frieze.
