Description

This is a chest tomb located approximately 13 metres to the west of the tower of the Church of St. Mary in Bucklebury. It dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded base and top, shaped corner balusters, and an oval panel on the south side that bears an inscription, which was illegible at the time of the last survey.
