Monument in the form of a low table tomb. Early C20. Ashlar. Rectangular monument with 4 bulbous feet standing upon a rectangular paved area. The base of the monument is decorated around the edges with grapes and vine leaves. The top has a stylised decorative cross in an open background. The cross with the inscription "To the memory of Lord William Augustus Cavendish Bentinck Major 10 Royal Hussars DSO born Jany 31 1865 Died at sea while on his way to rejoin his Regiment in India Novr 4th 1903".
