Description
Alpha House and its outbuilding date from around 1800 and are constructed of rendered brick. The house features projecting quoins, a slate roof, two red brick gable stacks, and a moulded cornice and eaves band. It is 2.5 storeys high and has three bays, set on a plinth with a first-floor band. There are three glazing bar sash windows on the ground floor, three similar sashes above, and three smaller sashes on the top floor. To the left of the house is a two-storey single bay lean-to, also set on a plinth, with one glazing bar sash on each floor. Further left is a single-storey outbuilding with a pantile roof and a red brick single gable stack. This outbuilding has two doorways, one with a segmental head and the other with double wooden doors, and features two tie plates.
