Description
This pair of cottages, located at Mattersey Hill Farm, dates from the early 19th century. They are constructed from red brick and feature a pantile roof, with two gable stacks and a single ridge stack. The eaves are decorated with dog tooth detailing. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of five bays. Each cottage has a central doorway with a half-glazed door set beneath a segmental arch, flanked by single Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars, also under segmental arches. Above the doors, there are four additional Yorkshire sash windows that match those below. At the rear, there are two two-storey cross wings, each with a single red brick gable stack.
