Description
The garages located to the northeast of Teversal Manor are 17th-century outbuildings that have been altered in the early 20th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers, along with a single gable stack. The building is two stories high and has a garden front with four bays. There is an off-centre round-headed doorway that is now blocked, with a single two-light ashlar chamfered mullion window to the left and two similar mullioned windows to the right. Above these, there are four additional similar mullioned windows. The north gable wall includes a two-light chamfered mullion window above. The rear, or east front, has three sets of large garage doors with a single loft door above, and to the right, there is a lean-to addition with another set of garage doors. Inside, the original 17th-century roof structure remains, featuring collar trusses and braces.
