Description

The war memorial in Market Rasen was built around 1923 and is made of polished white marble and bronze. It features two rectangular marble stones as a base, with the upper stone inscribed with the names of those who fell in the Second World War. Above this is a taller rectangular block with a pyramidal top, which bears the names of those who died in the Great War. At the top, there is a simple marble cross that is embellished with a bronze sword.
