Description

Nos 1 and 2 Market Place are early 19th century brick shops that stand two and a half stories tall and feature four bays. The building has stucco quoins and voussoirs above sliding sash windows. It is topped with a hipped slate roof. There are remnants of mid-19th century shopfronts and a surviving wrought iron sign-bracket. The two central bays project slightly from the façade.
