Description
The Corn Exchange, built in 1854 by H Goddard, is a Grade II listed building. It features an ashlar-faced, three-bay double front. The ground floor is rusticated and includes a central arched doorway flanked by circular windows, all adorned with keystones. The central keystone is decorated with a wheatsheaf, and there are rusticated pilasters on either side. Above the ground floor, there are three sash windows with moulded surrounds and cornice tops supported by brackets, with the central window featuring a pediment. The building has quoins at the sides and is topped with a cornice.
