Description
The building is a garage located at The Old Post Office, originally a house, dating from the 16th century, with alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The ground floor is constructed of rubble, while the upper storey features a timber frame with a thickly rendered exterior. It has a pantile roof and presents a two-storey exterior with a single-storey interior. The front has three bays, including a deep-set doorway with an askew plain doorcase and a plank door. To the left of the doorway, there is a square window that has been blocked with wood, and to the right, a window with a segmental head, also blocked with wood. Above, there are two very small sliding sash windows. The interior is roughly encased with plyboard, but two large irregularly shaped beams remain exposed.
