Description

Lodge Cottage is a tollhouse that has been converted into a cottage, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed coursed rubble and features a hipped concrete tile roof with a central chimney and overhanging eaves. The building is a single storey with a three-bay front. The central doorway has a four-centred arch beneath a rectangular head and is fitted with a studded plank door. On either side of the doorway, there are single two-light sliding sash windows.
