Description

The stable block at Brattleby Hall, built in 1813, is a two-storey structure made of coursed limestone rubble with a hipped slate roof. It features a nine-bay front, with the central bay projecting forward and topped by a plain pediment. The central entrance includes a large elliptical carriage arch with an ashlar keystone, and above it is an ashlar shield and a shuttered oculus. To the right of the carriage arch, there are four blocked round-headed openings, while to the left, there are three similar blocked openings, along with a glazed round-headed window that has a sliding sash and fanlight. Above the second blocked opening on the left, there is an oculus with spokes.
