Description
No 25 The Post Office is a post office and house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations from the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, partly painted, and features a pantiled roof with two brick gable stacks. The entrance is off-center and consists of a half-glazed panelled door with a plain overlight and panelled reveals. This door is flanked by single rectangular bays that contain 19th-century shop windows, which have had their glazing bars removed. Above the bays and the doorway, there is a leaded projecting canopy. On the first floor, there is a central blank opening flanked by single 19th-century bordered sash windows. All window openings have segmental brick heads.
