Description

Church View Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a pantile roof with two brick gable stacks. The house has a T-plan layout and stands three storeys high with a three-bay front that includes a brick eaves course. The central door is covered by a 20th-century porch and is flanked by 20th-century canted bays that have slate roofs and glazing bar sash windows. On the first and second floors, there are three 19th-century casements with brick segmental heads. Evidence suggests that the second floor was added later. The building is listed for its group value.
