Description
Hundon Manor House is a farmhouse built in the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick, primarily in English Garden Wall Bond of three, and features a pantiled roof with brick coped tumbled gables. The house has an L-shaped plan and a baffle entry, standing two stories tall with a four-bay front. The front has a cement rendered plinth and an off-centre six-panelled door that is framed by a moulded door case and a flat-headed hood.
To the left, there is a 20th-century rectangular bay window with glazing bars and a lead flat roof, along with two 20th-century top-hung casements. To the right, there is another similar window. All ground floor windows are topped with splayed rubbed brick flat arches. On the first floor, there are four 18th-century glazing bar sashes that have been converted to top-hung casements, supported by timber lintels. The gable wall is built in English Bond. The rear wing, which dates from the 19th century, features a dentillated brick eaves course and one Yorkshire sash window.
