Description
No. 1 Church Street is a former house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the late 17th century and was altered and raised in the late 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of painted coursed limestone rubble and features a concrete tiled roof with two brick gable stacks.
The front of the building has three bays and is two stories high. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, which is flanked by two wide plain sash windows with segmental heads. The right-hand window has a raised keystone. On the first floor, there are two plain sash windows positioned at the eaves. The gable end reveals the former steep pitch of the roof, with brick tumbling visible.
