Description
11 Broad Street is an early 18th-century building that has been significantly altered in the 19th century. It stands two storeys high with attics, constructed of ashlar stone. The building features a wide roof covered with stone slates and has two gabled dormers. A heavy cornice with modillions runs along the eaves, and the corners are accentuated with rusticated quoins. There is a moulded stone plinth and a stone chimney stack. The windows are from the 19th century, with a total of four. Two canted oriel windows flank two single windows, all with moulded stone frames and triple keystones, lacking glazing bars. The ground floor has two canted 19th-century bays, and a stone band runs along the façade. The entrance features a door topped with a rectangular fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes No 1, railings and terrace to No 1, No 2, wall and gates to No 2, Nos 3, 4, Warden's House to No 4, and Nos 5 to 11.
