Description
33 Broad Street is an early 18th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic, constructed from ashlar stone. It has a stone slate roof adorned with four hipped dormers and casement windows that lack glazing bars. The building includes two brick chimney stacks and six windows framed with plain stone surrounds and triple keystones, also without glazing bars. The entrance consists of a panelled 19th-century door located beneath a flat hood supported by brackets. To the right, there is a carriage arch, and to the left, a flat arch leads to Goldsmiths Lane. A small datestone, decorated with a broken pediment and shell ornament, is inscribed with 'E.W. 1704.' This property is part of a group that includes Nos 31 to 34 and the Old Technical School.
