Description

Denver House is a house from the 17th century, with a front dating from around 1800. It is constructed of stucco, featuring brick gable wall stacks and a hipped slate roof. The building has a two-storey front that consists of three bays, with the central bay being slightly advanced. The ends of the building have pilasters, and there are bands at the first floor and eaves. The central entrance is a glazed panelled door with a fanlight, set in a moulded surround and sheltered by a flat-roofed porch supported by two debased Tuscan columns. On either side of the door are single glazing bar sash windows, with three additional similar sashes located on the first floor. All the windows have flush stucco lintels with slightly emphasised keystones.
