Description

The Barn at The Mount is a mid-18th century structure located on the north-west side of Irnham Road in Corby Glen. It is built from coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins and a pantile roof. The barn has a central broad doorway with a timber lintel, and to the left of this doorway, there is a breather. Above the doorway on the left side, there is a single planked opening, also with a timber lintel. The barn retains its original three-bay pegged clasped purlin roof. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
