Description

This gravestone, located four paces south of the south porch of the Church of St. James, dates from 1769 and commemorates Rob Sewton, who died that year at the age of 76. The gravestone features an oval-shaped inscription panel, flanked by scrolls and topped with a winged angel, all set against a plain ashlar background with a curved top.
