Description
The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage, now a house, built around 1850. It features coursed squared limestone rubble on the sides and an ashlar front, topped with a hipped slate roof supported by moulded stone brackets. The building is two stories high with a three-bay front and a plinth. The entrance is off-centre, consisting of a half-glazed door with a plain overlight, set in recessed panelled reveals and flanked by plain Doric pilasters. These pilasters support a plain frieze and a moulded cornice, which has a short parapet above. On either side of the entrance are single fine glazing bar sash windows, and there are three similar windows on the first floor, all featuring flat ashlar lintels.
