Description
No. 36 St Martin's is a building dating from the mid to late 18th century, constructed on earlier coursed rubble. It features stone dressings and rusticated chamfered quoins, topped with a parapet and a small modillion cornice. The building has two storeys and attics, with two hipped dormers and two stone chimneys at the gable ends. There are five windows with plain stone surrounds and triple keystones, which do not have glazing bars. The central door is adorned with moulded brackets and an open pediment, and it includes a semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing bars and a door made of six fielded panels. No. 36 is part of a group that includes Nos. 18 to 3R and the Church of St Martin.
