Description

The garden wall to No 43 is likely from the mid-19th century. It is a blank wall constructed of coursed rubble, topped with a small ashlar moulded capping. This wall, along with Nos 39 to 43, No 44, the wall to No 44, Nos 45 to 70, and the garden wall to Nos 68 and 69, as well as the Burghley Almshouses, forms a cohesive group.
