Description

The gateway to Belton Park, dating from around 1700, serves as a pedestrian entrance. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a round arched opening with voussoirs. The square piers are adorned with channelled rustication. The gateway has a flat top that includes a moulded cornice, and it is fitted with a close boarded wooden gate.
