Description

Oasby Mill is a tower windmill built in 1810. It is constructed of black bitumen painted ashlar with a top made of coursed limestone rubble. The structure is a two-storey circular tapering tower that originally had a cap and sails, which have since been removed. The mill features a slight plinth and a corbelled band at the top of the tower. There is a plain wooden door at the base and two blocked openings above it. Inside, both floors remain intact, although all machinery has been removed.
