Description

Folly Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins, one raised stone coped gable, and a hip roof covered with pantiles. The front of the cottage has two storeys and four bays. The off-centre entrance consists of a plain 20th-century door, which is flanked by two 20th-century two-light timber casements; one has a timber lintel, while the other has a plain stone lintel. To the left, there is an additional single-light casement. On the upper floor, there are two two-light casements set into the eaves. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value only.
