Description

Grove House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with additions and alterations circa 1860. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with limestone ashlar and some rendered areas. The roof is covered in pantiles with decorative ridge tiles and stone-coped gables, featuring a single gable and single ridge stack. The house has a T-shaped plan.

The front elevation has two storeys and four bays. The third bay from the left has a coped gable. A doorway is located on the left side, with an ashlar doorcase, bracketed hood, and plank door. To the left of the doorway is a three-light mullion window with casements. A canted bay window is on the right side, incorporating a central three-light mullion window flanked by single-light windows, all with casements. A two-light mullion window with casements is next, followed by two two-light mullion windows with casements above. A single stone-dressed window is on the left, alongside a two-light mullion window with a casement.
