Description

The property is a farmhouse, dating to 1745, with additions from the mid-19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with limestone ashlar dressings. The roofs are covered with concrete tiles, featuring stone-coped gables and ashlar gable stacks, along with a single brick ridge stack at the rear. The building follows an L-shaped plan.

The two-story, three-bay front is extended by a plain lean-to bay on the left. The central doorway, originally prominent with a quoined surround, an ashlar lintel, and a raised keystone, is now blocked and contains a two-light casement window. Above the doorway, a round ashlar plaque is inscribed with "Mary Hanby 1745." The doorway is flanked by single three-light casement windows, and the windows above are similarly treated, flanking a narrower blocked window on each side; all feature ashlar lintels with raised keystones.
