Description
The building known as the House at Kesteven Farm Institute is a farmhouse that has been converted into three separate houses. It dates back to the early 18th century and features 19th and 20th-century additions and alterations. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped by a pantile roof with stone coped gables, kneelers, and moulded gable stacks. It has a T-plan layout with additional structures at the rear. The house is two storeys high and includes a plinth and a first-floor band. The central entrance features a 19th-century glazed panelled door, which is sheltered by a contemporary wooden porch with a half-hipped plain tiled roof. To the left of the door is a single light 19th-century casement window, and to the right are two four-light 19th-century glazing bar sash windows. The three windows on the upper floor are all 19th-century four-light glazing bar sashes.
