Description

The Manor House is a farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the early 18th century and has been altered over time. The building is constructed from coursed squared magnesian limestone and features a modern pantile roof. It has an L-shaped plan, consisting of a two-cell front range with a single-cell rear wing to the left and an outshut in the rear angle.

The house is two storeys tall, with an attic in the wing, and includes quoins. The facade has four bays with altered openings, including two inserted doorways at the junction, each with rectangular fanlights and lintels. There are two boxed sash windows on the ground floor and three above, located in the first, second, and fourth bays. The first floor also retains some earlier vertical-rectangular windows, including the head and jambs of one in the third bay. The gable features coping with kneelers and has large extruded gable chimney stacks finished in brick.

On the left gable, there is an inserted window at the first floor. The return wall of the wing has a doorway at the junction, a large altered window to the left, a square six-pane sash, and a four-pane sash at the first floor, both with exposed boxes. Additionally, there is an inserted attic dormer in the roof and a chimney at the rear gable. The interior has not been inspected.
