Description

Manor House is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with alterations and additions from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a stone-coped Collyweston slate roof. The building has two half external stepped gable ashlar stacks with moulded tops. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing made of red brick and rendered.

The front of the house is two storeys high and has five bays. It features an off-centre four-panelled door set in a moulded stone surround, flanked by single two-light mullioned windows with leaded lights, and single glazing bar sashes beneath timber lintels. On the first floor, there are four two-light mullioned windows, all with cavetto moulded mullions. Inside, the house has large chamfered and stopped beams, and the front room includes a large square fireplace with a rectangular ashlar surround.
