Description
Twelve stone benches located in the garden to the south-west of the forecourt at Harlaxton Manor date from around 1838 to 1854. They are likely designed by William Burn for Gregory Gregory. The benches are made of ashlar and feature chamfered rectangular shapes supported by three scrolled pedestals. The two benches that flank the south-west gateway are curved. These benches are part of the Harlaxton Manor Gardens, which are registered at grade II*. They are included for their group value.
