Description

This building is a terrace of four old people's cottages, dating from around 1700, with significant alterations made in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar dressings, stone-coped gables, and tall moulded stacks, with one similar ridge stack on a slate roof. The front of the building is two stories high and consists of six bays. It includes two identical mid-19th century gabled porches with side entrances, each adorned with two single lights and a coat of arms above. These porches are flanked by 19th century single three-light casements, and above them are four similar casements.
