Description
Virginia House is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of High Road in Londonthorpe and Harrowby. The building features a brick front and rear, with stone sides, and has a pantile roof topped with brick gable stacks. The facade is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with an applied stone plinth. The central entrance is a 20th-century six-panelled door, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows that have stone cills and slightly segmental heads. Above the door, there is a blocked opening that is also flanked by glazing bar sashes. At the rear, there is a later 19th-century brick wing that extends for two storeys.
