Description

Curwen Cottage is a two-storey, two-bay cottage dating from 1819, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed and banded limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is half-hipped and thatched, with a tall brick wall stack. The front features a half-glazed door added in the 20th century, positioned under a semi-circular head. The keystone of this arch bears the inscription "HS 1819." A single, two-light casement window is located to the right, with a similar single window above it on the first floor.
