Description
Deeping Gate Bridge over the River Welland is a Grade II listed stone bridge dated 1651, located on the boundary of the parishes of Deeping Gate and Deeping St James. The bridge features three round arches with slight chamfers and mouldings above them. It has cutwaters on both sides, which include refuges in the parapets. The parapets are topped with half-round coping. Notably, the center arch has been repaired with brick. The northern half of the bridge is situated in the Parish of Deeping St James, South Kesteven District, Lincolnshire, and is also listed as Grade II.
