Description
This building is a cottage located at 39 Great Rissington, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, featuring dressed stone quoins. The roof is primarily stone slate, with some concrete tiles at the rear, and there is a brick stack. The cottage has one and a half storeys and a rectangular plan, with two ashlar stacks. The upper floor is illuminated by two 20th-century two-light eaves dormers, which have wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is one small single-light casement and one two-light casement, both with timber lintels. The entrance features a 20th-century plank door with eight frosted panes at the top and a timber lintel, positioned off-centre to the left. The building has an axial stack. The interior has not been inspected.
