Description
This is a late 18th-century cottage on the west side of Castlegate. It is two storeys high and built of red brick with a pantile roof. The front has two windows, each with a painted stone flat arch above, featuring shaped tops and keystones. The windows have flush frames, with glazing bars on the ground floor, and later sash windows. A modern doorway has been installed. The property forms a group with numbers 25 to 32 Castlegate.
