Description

Granta Hall is a two-storey building from the first half of the 19th century, constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It features a stone plinth, frieze, and cornice. The building has three bays, with the central bay projecting slightly and topped with a pediment and a Doric porch. There are three windows that include glazing bars. Granta Hall was formerly the headquarters of the local philosophical society. At the back of the building, there is a rotunda with skylight windows, which was once used as the society's library.
