Description

Elmer House, located at the south-east corner of Elmer Street South and Finkin Street, is an 18th-century building now used as offices. It is constructed of stone and features a hipped slate roof, built on an L-shaped plan. However, the Finkin Street frontage has been obscured by a modern extension. The Elmer Street South side has two storeys with attics, a projecting plinth, a coved plaster eaves cornice, and a band between the storeys. It has five windows, which now contain modern sashes. Inside, the building retains its original staircase with an ornamental plaster ceiling and a panelled room.
