Description
The Waggon and Horses is a public house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of brick and features two gable stacks and a pantiled roof. The building has a five-bay, two-storey front with a first-floor sill band. The entrance is an off-centre four-panelled door with a three-paned overlight above, which is sheltered by a flat roof supported on timber brackets. To the right of the door is a leaded sash window, and to the left are three similar windows, with a blocked doorway situated between the end pair. On the first floor, there are four leaded sash windows, all with segmental heads, and the upper windows are fitted with Venetian shutters.
