Description

Caretaker's Cottage and the adjoining outbuilding form a pair of cottages that have been combined into one structure. They date from the mid-18th century and were remodeled around 1870. The buildings are constructed from coursed squared stone and brick, featuring a half-hipped pantile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window range with segment-headed two-light sliding sashes. Below these, there are three similar windows and a board door to the left. The brick left gable displays tumbling. The adjoining single-storey gabled outbuilding has cogged eaves and a door on the right; it was previously used to store the bier.
