Description

The Chalet is a cottage built in 1785, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof topped with a single red brick gable stack. The building is single storey with a five-bay front. The central entrance has a 20th-century planked door with a Tudor arched head. To the left of the door, there are a two-light and a four-light wooden cross mullioned window, while to the right, there are two two-light leaded casements. All the windows have wooden lintels. On the right gable, there is a datestone displaying the initials JMF and the date 1785.
