Description
The Wheelwright's House is an early 19th-century house located on Sudthorpe Hill in Fulbeck. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, and has a pantiled roof with two gable stacks. The two-story, three-bay front features a decorative chequer pattern on the front wall, created with dark brick headers. A band runs along the first floor, and a decorative cornice runs along the eaves. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with a triple overlight, set within a moulded wooden doorcase that has a flat hood with a cusped underside. Flanking the door are single-pane sash windows with broken serpentine ashlar lintels and keyblocks. On the first floor are three further single-pane sashes, also with flat splayed lintels and keyblocks.
