Description

Toad Hall is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a pantiled roof with a single stone coped gable and a brick ridge stack. The front facade is of two storeys and three bays. An off-centre, glazed planked door is present, with a single two-light casement window to its left. Above the door is a Yorkshire glazing bar sash window, and to the left, a circular fixed stone light. Evidence of a blocked door and a first-floor window are visible in the centre of the front. All openings are topped with timber lintels. The building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
